Welcome to Nursing Summer School in Helsinki at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences!

The Nursing school will take place in 24-28 August 2026. Theme: Patient safety and safe medications management.

Why participate Nursing Summer School?

• Wide range of skills: Nurses need many critical skills to be able to successfully care for patients. We cover many of these areas, students from every level will benefit from this extra experience.
• Hands-on learning: The programme is almost entirely run in our practical Nursing skills classrooms or simulation rooms, we emphasize hands-on learning through practical learning and case studies.
• Experienced teachers: Summer school lecturers have been teaching clinical skills in English in Metropolia for several years and are experiences in running an international classroom.
• International environment: Summer School brings together participants and from all around the world, creating a diverse and multicultural learning environment. You will have the opportunity to network with fellow participants, learn from their experiences, and make new friends.
